Jasper Preston Memorial Fund
Providing emergency financial assistance for those who need one-time relief to reach greater housing stability.
Honoring 11 Years of Selfless Service
Mr. Jasper Eugene Preston, age 36, of Dallas, Georgia, began his eternal rest on Friday, July 19, 2024, after he fought a hard fight to overcome cancer. Our community at the Georgia Alliance to End Homelessness is heartbroken by his passing, but we are grateful that he is no longer suffering.
For 11 years, Jasper had dedicated his life in service to the underserved people of the great state of Georgia. His contributions to the Georgia Alliance cause included the creation of one of GAEH's core programs, the "Georgia Always Provides (GAP) Program." In honor of his commitment and dedication, we are proudly renaming the GAP Program to the Jasper Preston Memorial Fund.
We invite you to help us keep the memory and legacy of this wonderful soul alive for generations to come, with a monthly contribution of $11 a month to commemorate Jaspers's 11 years of service to the community.
Georgia Always Provides
Providing support for homeless or at-risk individuals and families who do not meet the criteria for other available programs in their immediate area. GAEH's GAP program provides emergency financial assistance for those who simply need temporary relief to reach a state of greater housing stability.
This program provides support including temporary hotel stays to provide clients with a safe place to land until permanent or transitional housing is available, and/or providing security deposits to clients (with sufficient income) who are ready to access permanent housing.
At its core, the GAP Program is designed to return clients to stable housing within 30 days, reducing the community's financial burden significantly. Donating via the form below will help GAEH ensure that no individual in Georgia goes without housing due to a lack of immediately available funds.
