Strengthening Families Training
February 28, 2017
Presented By: Georgia Alliance to End Homelessness
On February 28, in Macon Georgia Executive Director Katheryn Preston will host a half day Strengthening Families training. Well trained and informed staff and volunteers working with homeless families and children can play an important role in preventing child abuse. By the end of this training, you will have tools for your work with families, children and youth. This training is being tailored by the facilitator Katheryn Preston to focus on special needs of persons living in a state of homelessness. Included is a thorough understanding of the five Protective Factors, how to recognize strengths in families you work with and how incorporating the Protective Factors can help your families meet challenges.
